A NON-DUMPER???
I had surgery the same day, my surgeon told me you shouldn't dump this early on. I haven't dumped but have had 2 bouts of my pouch not liking the meat I chose that evening, and did throw up. My understanding dumping is only from high fat high sugar.
I haven't dumped yet either, and I'm quite pleased with that. I'm sure if you hit something high sugar or high fat you'll find out real quick what dumping is. I know for myself, I don't want to find out!

I am not a dumper either. It's kinda of weird to be upset that you don't get sick when you eat. It took me a little time to figure out that getting sick is not the norm. Not being sick is the way it's supposed to be. One of my first psycological (sp) hurdles.
I have had that middle of my chest death grip though but I haven't nor do I want to.

p.s how much protein do you get in a day. Your success of -42 pounds is great
Not dumping is great! Don't worry about it!
I have dumped 3 times now. Once with kidney beans in chili, once with Spaghetti-O's, and once last night with SF cookies (too much sugar alcohols).
And I have barfed a few times, too. Once I laid down too soon after eating, once cause I ate too much, and once for eating something too fatty.
I guess I should consider this a blessing because it is helping me change my eating habits. But don't worry about not dumping. You just need to have more self-control than me! LOL

Not a dumper either. And I have pushed the envelope on this one.
Although, the assistant surgeon on my case told me the day I was discharged to eat as I could tolerate, just a lot less!
I have bouts of nausea, sometimes all day. That is when I just can't stand to eat or the thought of eating! THAT is very strange.
