Im home again

Hi Karen Ok so heres whats going on with me.... I just got back from the hospital I had to stay there for the last 10days...it got to the point where I could not hold anything down... I was throwing up eevrything.... so they took and uper Gi(NASTY), and an endoscopy and it showed that my stomache was inflamed..They decided that I needed a central line so they tried one but since it got stuck in my neck they had to take it out.... so then I had to go through another surgery so they can put a central line in through my chest near my neck, that was through surgery...so now I have a hickman (central line) in and a visiting nurse in to help me hook my self up to the nutrients that I need... So basically I don't eat or grink, I get everything through an IV....The good thing is I get to still go to school or work because I can hide it (I hope)...so let me stop babbling.... one more the scale on my unt read I was down a total of 80+ lbs..in one month... Hi Lisa, I'm so glad to hear you're home again. What an ordeal! It must be nice to be back in familiar surroundings, huh? Do you know how long you will have to "eat" that way? Great job on the loss, that is amazing! You've lost twice what I have Aimée -40

Hi Lisa, i know exactly how you feel. my problem isnt me eating, its breathing. for some reason i keep having these asthma attacks now and stop breathing. i've been on a vent twice now. and i am now home on i.v. antibiotics, which i finish tonight . so tomorrow i am off to see the lung doc again and hope to get some answers. like you, i have lost 80 pounds, and i wonder why i never had a problem like before? hope you feel better LInda

glad to here your ok . but you go girl on the 80lbs I'm happy for you . I'm not sure how much I've lost because I do not have a scale, but I may break down and buy one soon.

I hope that your inflammation goes down, your stomach heals well, and that the PIC line will be removed soon and you can eat again. I know that losing 80 pounds this way wasn't pleasant, and that you nay be afraid of what the future holds, but I hope you can be encouraged. i know we aren't supposed to write religious things becasue of the terms of service, But I will be praying for you.
