UGH! First of all, let me thank each and every one of you *****plied to my last post ("Help--- Gall Bladder pain????) lastnight/today. I felt it was very reassuring to know what was going on with me (possibly), and that others had been through it, too. So thank you again! BUT THEN... I called my Dr's office this morning. I asked to speak to the Doc or his PA. The lady (very nice) who answered the phone asked me what was wrong. So I told her. She briefly put me on hold and then came back to ask me a series of questions... I GUESS MY DOC WAS TOO FRIGGIN' BUSY TO TALK TO ME FOR 5 MINUTES! Instead, she tells me she'll call me back. 5 minutes later she calls me back and tells me "Oh, don't worry about the (EXCRUCIATING) pain, IT WAS PROBABLY NOTHING... the Doc said it was too soon to develop gall stones (it's been 2 months since surgery)". I'm SOOOOO ANGRY! Not like I WANT to have something wrong with my gall bladder, but COME ON! I was in MAJOR PAIN for 2 hours last night! I was nauseous, pale, sweating profusely AND FELT LIKE SOMEONE WAS STABBING ME IN MY GUT! Literally, it felt like someone stuck a knife in me, right below my rib cage in the center of my abdomen, and then poured hydrochloric acid over it-- FOR 2 STINKIN' HOURS! Oh, but it's nothing, right???????????????? Yeah, I'd like to see the receptionist there OR my Doc dealing with that! HA! I've had kidney stones, and honestly, the pain was VERY SIMILAR, only it was not over my kidneys... it was in the center of my abdomen, just below where my ribs come together. I couldn't lay down, sit, stand, or anything... it was a HORRENDOUS TORTUROUS PAIN!! Anyways, I guess I'll wait and see if it comes back again, and then go to the ER. At least they'll do something about it. Thanks for letting me vent! Dawn

I have to say it sounds like dumping to me too. The first sign is a really painful pain in the center of chest, right around where you say. Usually for me laying down helps it some, but I never really feel better unless I throw up. Hope you don't have to go thru that again. Joy
