Hi Michelle, I too am 3 weeks post-op. I lost 20lbs the first week after surgery and now for over TWO WEEKS I haven't lost ANY. I am swimming 1 to 1.5 hours (deep water aerobics) three times per week and walking in between. I get all my water and protein in most days. I've lost inches and I'm wearing smaller clothes so I guess I shouldn't complain... but it is getting frustrating! Sue L.

Thanks Sue L. I lost 20 lbs. my 1st week also, I have not lost any myself, but inches are melting away. I have not made it into smaller clothes yet. Thank you for your comments

Hi Michelle, From what I've read on these boards, it's very common to hit a plateau right around 3 weeks. Mine came at 5 weeks. You're doing everything right -- just continue doing what you're doing! This too shall pass!

It's a terrible word called plateau. I had it for two weeks after my first two weeks. Not only did I not lose but 6 pounds came back on. Then suddenly one day those 6 were gone and more. Just keep following your nutritionists plan, drink lots of water and your protien and you will see the scales move soon. Best wishes Patty
