Okay all you AUGUST 3rd Post-Ops, How much have you lost?
Hey everyone,
I feel like I'm such a slooooooooow loser. I guess I always have been. Today is our (08/03 patients) 7 week anniversary. So far I've lost 35 pounds.
How much have you lost????
Hmmmm, maybe if I spent less time on the and more time working out...
Let me know what's working for you!!!!
Thanks,
Dawn
Dawn,
I had my surgery on August 2nd. I've lost just shy of 45 pounds. I am thrilled, but I, too feel like I should be losing quicker. I got to the gym 4 times last week, which for me was awesome. I just want to take a pill and be thin tomorrow!!! No, seriously, I am very thankful that I was able to have this operation and I feel good about my progress even if it is a bit slower than I'd like. Sounds like you are doing well, too!

Hi there Dawn,
I've only lost 30 lbs, and sigh with envy every time I hear of all those that have lost so much more. But what the heck?! It's 30 lbs gone, I feel great, my blood pressure is down & I'm off the BP meds! My clothes are all falling off me, and I'm down 3 sizes!
Life is really good! I'm paying pretty much attention to getting lots of water & protien in, (most days) and now that I'm feeling better and better, I'm getting more and more exercise - mostly walking a mile and a half 2 or 3 times a day.
Hey guys, I have lost 36. I feel like I should be loosing more. I know I do not walk as much as I should. Just started going to YMCA. Can do a mile on treadmill. Took my first class today with "Silver Sneakers". This is an over 55 group. Used some tummy muscles I had not used before, so a bit tender. My clothes are getting so big. Or I should say, I am getting so small! Which feels good.
We are cooling off a wee bit in Florida. When it is cool in evening I walk in park on a mile track. Can do the mile without stopping to rest. So I am getting there.
One thing I have learned, I must get my water and protein or I do not loose.
