I'm doing so well, I almost feel guilty

I've been reading on here about so many people that have had WLS and weren't doing so well at first. Many had complications and have spent weeks and sometimes months in the hospital. There's this lady who also had the DS done by my surgeon who has had lots of problems and is back in the hospital for another surgery. So I kinda feel guilty. I have not had one single problem at all! I got out of the hospital after three days and have not had any problems. I am up moving around doing basicly everything I did before surgery (except lifting heavy things) and almost all the pain is gone. I think I've done very well considering today is my three week anniversary. Like I said, I am keeping pretty active and don't even really get that tired (that could change once I get back to work, of course). Life is great for me! I am not bragging, I'm just thankful to the Lord for being so good to me! -down 23 pounds (as of sunday)

Mike.. I know what you mean...for me, things are going too well! I haven't had any problems with food, vomiting, nausea, etc. I'm thankful I haven't had any problems but at the same time I feel guilty too!!! Take care, Nicole

I feel the same way! I am already back to work and back to my normal schedule. I walk 2 miles a day. I am thankful that things have gone so well for me too. I can't wait to see some major results. Congrats on the 23 lb loss. --Marianne

Congrats Mike! Keep up the good work, you're obviously doing it right! Don't feel badly that you're okay! And to think... it only gets easier from here on out! You're going to be a major loser in no time (I mean that in the nicest way)! Keep it up! Dawn
