Please call your doctor. You may have a stricture. The stricture is a lesion that closes off the passage way to your new stomach pouch and it will cause everything to come back up. Strictures usually start to show up around 4 weeks post op. If it's a stricture, your doctor can easily treat it. Take care!

My doctor said that it was not a blockage because I could still hold down liquids. I also called him again and he said that should call back in a week if there is any problems.

Jenn: I would call the Dr it does sound like a stricture or you may also have the flu. When I got out of hospital I was home about a week and had a terrible bout with the flu. Best wishes Patty

Jenn, Insist that you're doctor listen to you. I had an endoscopy today to check for a stricture-I wasn't throwing up, just in pain and unable to move off of pureed food. I did, indeed, have a stricture which was dilated during the same procedure. I feel great! I had my first semi-solid food in a month. (My surgery date was 8/30.) Best of luck!! Nancy A
