Could I not be losing because I'm not eating enough???
I am having a very hard time getting myself to eat 6 small meals a day.
Will it impact how quickly and how much I lose?
I lost 33lbs the first week. Then when I went to weigh myself there were some scale issues but it said I was up 4lbs.
I can't really rely on that because the scale wasn't level...it was leveled...I got on it....got off...unlevel again.
I know I won't lose another 33lbs in a week but I figured I would lose SOMETHING.
33 lbs in a week is phenomenol!!!!!!. I'm 1 month out and have just lost that much. I think your body has to readjust its weight distribution, but it's easy for me to say, but if you're following dr.s orders the weight will come off.
Congratulations on the 33 pound loss. Just think of when you lost 33pounds in a week and you knew it would be gone forever!
God bless youl

Could be you need some calories to keep your metabolism going so your body doesn't think you're in starvation mode and hold on to the fat stores it's created.
I lost 22 pounds in 2 weeks, then NOTHING for 2 weeks, now I've been losing again!
Up your protein, water, and exercise, and you should be okay!
Good job so far! I'm jealous! It's taken me 7 weeks to lose that much!

Hi! I have almost the exact same situation as you!!!! I had my surgery on the 31st of August as well, and I have lost 30 lbs so far, but for the past week or so, I have been stuck!!! I am so sick of the protein drinks that I want to gag everytime I drink them. I had the same thing where my scale said that I gained back 2 lbs and I freaked!!! When I got back on the scale, it went back down, but I am really worried that I am not eating enough to sustain weight loss. I called the nurse, and she said that it is normal for some people to go through this. She said that some people lose large amounts of weight, and then nothing, and then all of a sudden they will lose again. It is very frustrating, because for a while there, I was losing like 5 lbs a day it seemed! I have started to add exercise to my routine, and I am hoping that will help.
