Hi--I worry about this too--I am a little over 3 weeks out and as of my 2 week check up had lost 41 pounds. I lost more because I have more to lose so don't feel bad. Yesterday I ate the following: Breakfast:1/4 c low carb total cereal with protein with a little 1% milk Snack: v-8 juice Lunch: a dollop of mashed potatoes with cream of chicken soup over it Snack: lean ham 2-3 bites Dinner: baked fish and some V-8 Snack: jello with cool whip I go back tommorrow so we will see if I lost anymore. I am starting to have some cravings since I started back to work! ): Cathy

It was not a good day for me, we were out all day so I didnt eat too much. B - 1 cheese string L - 2 oz chicken grilled S - 2 oz chicken grilled D - 3 oz chilli Only totaled 330 calories. I am trying to do better today. Today I had B - 1/2 slice bacon, 1 thin slice ham and 1 slice tomato L - 2 slices cooked ham I started at 330 and today am 290, thats 40 pounds in 5.5 weeks. My menu yesterday was: B - 1/2 svg Honey Bunches of Oats cereal with 1/4 c. 1% milk S - 1/6 Zone protein bar L - 2 slices low-fat provolone cheese with 4 Carr's herb & garlic crackers S - 1 T. Peanut butter with 1/2 svg low fat honey graham cracker D - 1/4 patty (2 oz?) Gorton's garlic & herb fish filet; 2 T. steamed broccoli -- these did not set well S - 1/2 carton of Kroger light yogurt I'm having a lot of difficulty with protein. Ground beef, chicken and (now) fish do not set well at all in my new pouch -- these were the meats that the dietician said would be easiest to digest. I also can't tolerate any form of pasta or noodle. On the other hand, I do very well with all kinds of crackers. Still difficult to get in 32 oz of water a day (still working up to this). I hope this food trouble passes! I am not getting in enough protein. I'm doing well on my weight loss - 30 pounds in 4 weeks, but this week I seem to have hit my first plateau.
