Jacqueline, I felt like that and two weeks post op my PCP put me on B12 shots. I have to take them every 2 weeks. He will then switch me to once a month. He told me that most bariatric patients eventually end up on the shots because we simply can not absorb the B12 like we used to. I feel almost like my old self. You may want to look into this. I felt like a dead person, I was dragging so bad it scared me. Hope it gets better for you! Denise

I had 2 week post op today and my Doc said to be prepared to go thru a couple of weeks of fatigue. Usually between weeks 3 and 5. Normal reaction from your body adjusting to the "starvation" mode. After about 2 weeks of fatigue your body will re-adjust as you begin to eat more normally and you will regain your energy. So hang in there!! Teresa T

I was feeliing very tired as well. Taking lots of naps. But after visiting my nutritionalist, 2 weeks post-op, and asked if I could start taking my B12 Sublingual vitamin again; was told yes and I feel better. Each day I have more energy. I buy my B12 Sublingual (desolves under the tongue) from www.Trivita.com. Feel better !!! Reva
