Good for you Denise. I am 1 month and down 37lbs. I have been having a real hard time emotionally the last 2 days. I am really depressed. I guess I used to eat when that happened, and now I have to get used to not feeding my emotions. I am doing great physically, no nausea, or vomiting as yet. I am going on solid foods on Thursday, so I will see what happens. Keep up the good work. Sue

Dear Sue, I am sorry to hear that you are having the blues. But as soon as you start eating real food, I promise you will feel better. It is not all about mush food the rest of our lives. I had my surgery on the 20th of August and I have lost 36lbs already. I never did the soft/pureed stage, I just couldn't stand it. The emotions you are dealing with are totally normal though, you know that right ? I have dreams about chocolate eclairs and peanut butter cups, believe me I know what you are going through. Anytime you want to talk, please do not hesitate to contact me. We are really all in the same boat here, but some of us are more emotionally attached to our food than others, I am with you honey. That is just terrific Denise. I only had a 28 pound loss in the first month but that's okay it will come. Patty
