I apologize, I wrote sf pop earlier and I meant sf popcicle, not pop as in soda. I guess it depends on what part of the country you're in. Natalie

I had an rny Aug. 9th. The first 3 weeks home I was on a cream based full fluid diet. I had cream of wheat, creamed soups, yogurt, pudding and skim milk. I am now on a pureed diet and can pretty much have anything as long as it is soft or pureed. So far I have had soups, chilli, mashed potatoes, lean cuisine dinners and pasta. Patty

Hello- I had my RYN on 08/30. Today is exactly two weeks and I am down 33.7 as of this morning at 8am and then I went walking. My eating consist of the following: water & crystal light, over 10+ differrent cream of soup (no more broth), pudding, jello, strained egg drop soup, shakes, Silk milk and dannon yogurts....-ALL of 2oz per serving and every 30-45 minutes to allow my stomach to empty. I'm eating maybe 3 times a day to get in the protein neccessary. I drink water consistenly throughout the day. Good luck,-gwen

Hi Kay! Hang in there, it only gets better! My surgery date was 8/30 and at my post-op checkup I was down 12lbs in 12 days. Yippeeee! I am allowed: lowfat cottage cheese or regular cheese eggs-I made my first post-op omelette today! hot cereals (or soggy cold cereal-YUCK!) tuna, chicken or turkey minced-I mix with lowfat mayo to make "salads" soups whirled in a food processor (split pea, lentil & bean are good-you can add minced meats as above for added protein and bulk) pureed fruits and vegetables refried beans protein supplements and , of course, water! So far, I have tolerated everything but I am very cautious about trying new things or eating too fast. I don't want to have any differences of opinion with this pouch! Best of luck to you!! Nancy A p.s. I also found Tropicana Swirl Bars (no sugar added) in my local supermarket, they're yummy!
