First blood test results!

Everything seems to be ok with my vitamins. My blood test showed that I have high cholestrol and hepatitis A. My urine test shows a high uric acid. He said the hepatitis A just represents a flu type virus, which I did have when I came home from the hospital. Today was a bad day I couldnt keep anything down but my water and protien. My Dr wanted to put me back on clear fluids for a week but agreed to let me keep a food diary for him for a week and then bring it in and see what doesnt agree with me. Patty

My first blood test came back with cholesterol out the roof too. Have you completely gotten over the flu??? Could that be why food is having such a hard time staying in your pouch???? The food diary is a great idea. Good luck as you try to progress to solid food. I'll keep you in my prayers. Barbara

Patty I'm sorry you don't feel good, I'm right their with you on the feeling bad. i have not felt good yet really... Keep going and they say this to shall pass. Linda

Hi Patty, I had hepatitis 25 yrs ago. When I had it I couldn't eat. Just the smell of food made me sick. So that's probably causing some of your problems. Also since the hepatitis is an inflamation of the liver and the liver produces cholesterol it may also be causing the higher levels. Just go slow and easy. Hepatitis takes a lot out of you. Good luck and do what the docs say. Patti
