Hi everyone....Im 2 weeks...

Hi everyone....Im 2 weeks out now and i have lost 21 lbs....I am a lil weak still and i know that its kinda expected....I am also having such a nasty taste in my mouth from being in ketosis i guess....even water taste nasty to me....I can't wait till this taste goes away...has anyone else experienced this? Thank All who prayed fro me during my surgery.....GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!

Hey Denise, I know exactly what you are going through. I too have a "coating" feeling in my mouth that I cannot get rid of. It tastes nasty. My husband keeps trying to make out and I just can't. I have been brushing my tongue and drinking alot of water trying to get rid of it. Guess it is part of the process. lol. Shelli

I feel the same way. My DH keeps telling me my breathe stinks (how attractive huh?). I bought some listerine strips to help and it has temporarily. --Marianne

I've got the nasty taste in my mouth too. Nothing tastes right. Feels like my mouth is coated. Want something to taste good and ironically it's the protein drinks that taste the best (couldn't wait to get off them). I hope the bad taste goes away. I've bought the listerine pocket packs too but they BURN! Would just love to chew something that tastes good so I understand. God bless you. Jeanette (8/25/04 Lap RNY -16)
