Hi Sue, I gave up..I am a slave to the pouch. Whatever it lets me do, I do it. I am not going to stress out anymore over this. I get in what I can and the days I I just go with it. The last place I want to be is in a hospital ...Beleive me I am getting my liquids in. Its the protein I worry about. Thanks for sharing! Denise

Denise, I would insist that you see your doctor now. I hd surgerry 8/17/04 and can eat everything now. I had a bout of nausea day six, but it's importnat you eat more foods. Your body will think you are starving it a shut down your metabolism. How much weight have you lost to date?

Denise I'm so sorry to hear about your problems. I've been recently having a very similar thing. I'm 3 weeks post-op and the first two weeks were fine. This last week when I tried a few soft foods they gave me problems. I can't keep it down. I've had a problem 4 days out of the 7. I guess I need to call my doctor too. This isn't fun. I've lost 30 lbs! That part is great, but is that normal? I am really having trouble drinking the protein drinks. The shakes are so thick that I feel full all day. I'm eating about 2 oz. of soup and 2 crackers and feel full for 2 hours afterwards. If I drink water I'm running to the bathroom! Anyway, hope you find out what's going on with your pouch! I'll keep you in my prayers. Pat
