had my surgery on the 30th also. I have been drinking water, eating sugar free jello, sugar free popsicles, dannon carb contol splenda sweetened yogurt, and I had some strained cream of mushroom soup. It was the first thing I had that tasted like real food. It was wonderful. I haven"t got sick and feel great. I think the secret to my method is I eat out of those little med cups and I measure everything so I don't over fill my pouch. In a little while I am going to have the broth of chicken noodle soup.yum. Oh yeah when I have broth or strained soup I made it scalding hot. That way it takes longer to eat.

I ate a popsicle and felt so full afterward that I was afraid to put anything else in my pouch today! LOL
