constipation!
Looks like a Fleet enema is all that is left to try if the intake ways aren't working. I did not really have a problem with the constipation. I was warned if I didn't go in x number of days, this was what I was to do.
Good luck, it is not that bad. And it is normal to have the constipation because of the nature of the surgery and the meds. If you are still on pain meds, cut back if you can. They have a lot to do with it.

I feel your pain! I'm 17 days post op and am having a terrible time with constipation. Pushing and straining, pain...sweating...shaking...feeling like I'm going to pass out. Someone from the Main Message Board suggested 100% apple juice or applesauce. I don't care if I'm supposed to still be on full liquid, I just had 4 ozs. of sugar free apple sauce, and sipping on 8 ozs. of 100% apple juice. I have lost 22.6 lbs, and have sat at that weight for 2 days, and I'm sure it is because of the constipation. I'm going to take MOM tonight before I go to bed. I am NOT going to go through this constipation thing anymore. It's AWFUL!!!!!

I am 4 weeks post op and had the same problem well still do... I finally had to take some correctol.... the MOM didnt work, the apple juice, I even at some cereal with sugar just to hope I would have some dumping but not even that helped...
I took 2 correctol that night and finally the next day I went for over 20 minutes and lost 3 more lbs.... I was feeling so sluggish and my lower stomach area was hurting so much.....
