Its hard to believe, my plumbing has been rearranged, as I dont feel much different, other than, can't eat much of anything other than cottage cheese, cream of wheat, apple sauce..and ARGH..JELLO!!...heheh..family all arouund me feels terrible eating Pizzas, fajitas....and etc..(I did try and puree the filling of a chicken fajita...EEP!..it felt like swallowing sandpaper)..so back to my softies..I just hope I can find some new ideas. I think everyone was expecting me to return from surgery (already thin) looking different....when does it begin to show...????

No clue when it begins to show! We didn't get fat in a day, so don't expect to be thin in one!! LOL I have had variety in soup, grits, pintos and cheese, mashed potatoes, cream corn (most don't recommend this), apple sauce, more soup, jello, ice pops, pudding, and repeat!! The little 4 ounce containers have really helped me keep on track. I go pick out a color from the fridge for my meals...lol Keep in touch! I get to move to food Monday, fish and veggies is what is recommended. I am thinking of making some haddock and steamed veggies. Tabitha

It didnt really show up on me till about the end of the second week then I noticed that my face was alot thinner and my wedding rings fit me again. Ive been eating mostly soups since I got out. Cant wait till monday I start the soft/pureed stage. Good luck and wishing you a speedy recovery. Patty
