Right around the corner...Monday
Hi everyone my day is literally around the corner... am I nervous? UMMMM He!! yeah.... But its not to the point where I'm bugging out... I just can't wait for it to be over with.... I have to be there at 6:30am and my surgery is at 8 or 9 I believe... I have everything I need, with the exception of protein drinks... I've been browsing through old and recent posts and got some good suggestions on protein drinks and how to drink them...so I'm going to the store this weekend for them...
I don't have an (cuz my stupid behind never asked for one) so if anyone wants to reach me, email me and I will give you my cell #, my sister will have it with her...
I'm as ready as I'm going to be:angst, especially after looking at my pictures from Jamaica... I must say the CLOSE ups were really nice, but the whole ones...MMMMHHHH what a mess...
Guys keep me in your prayers.. and thanks for everything... I do plan to post again on Sunday for extra prayers...

Lisa, I remember well last weekend was my waiting for surgery weekend!!! I believe it was the longest 2 days of my life. I think the waiting and the bowel prep was worse than the surgery though. I had lap rny and it was not bad at all!!! The first whole day will be a total lose..so don't even worry about it!! The morphine pump will be your best friend!!! Push that little button girlfriend...they actually yelled at me to use mine more often so it didn't get discontinued!!! Do exactlly what they say, keep the pain meds coming and walk every chance you get!!! The next thing you know you will be getting discharged and be home. Relax and enjoy the pampering while it lasts!!!! You will do great!! Can't wait till ya join us n the other side!!! Barb
It comes so fast. Before you know it you will be waking up from surgery. And as Barb said use the morphine pump, its a wonderful thing. 1 hit from that and I would sleep like a baby. Take it before you want to do something that involves alot of moving, especially getting out of bed. The last time I was thin was when I went to Jamaica, I use those pics as my incentive. That was a good 24 years ago.
Best wishes on your journey.
