Abnormal EKG!!! Surgery 8/30?

4 more days to go until surgery... HOPEFULLY! Monday (8/23) had my pre-op tests done. The EKG came back abnormal, either showing a previous mild heart attack or a "normal variance" on the test. Had to take the treadmill stress test. This wasn't abnormal, but it wasn't completely normal either so they labeled it "inderterminate". Great. So tomorrow, Friday (8/27 -- 3 days before surgery), I get to have another treadmill stress test then have an echocardiogram. The results will be read later in the day and I will get my results from my PCP doctor late in the afternoon. So 3 days prior to my surgery date, I will find out if they are going to let me have the surgery or not. Talk about stress!!!! I go from tears to being angry and then back to tears. I am going to a support group meeting tonight. I could use some comforting. I will update when I know IF I get to have my surgery. Say a prayer for me.

Yah i can't imagine. soory to hear that. i will be praying and i know that the right answere is there for you no matter what it is.

Agu 30theer here as well. So sorry you have to go through this on your last 4 days, but as others have mentioned, keep your head up and your faith strong. The answer you get is the answer that is needed, be it is if it not what we want at the time. Whatever gets you through this in the best condition, health, and mindframe. Don't go insane over this - just relax, do what is needed, and hold on for the results. Plus, stressing out and just feeling upset/crying/frustrated will not help you through any stress test!!! stay strong!
