I have Osteoarthritis in the knees
So sorry you are in such pain. I too have OA of knees. For past 8 months I have done very little. I was on meds for pain, injections in right knee and therapy. Nothing really helped, sorry to say. Now that I am post op, I can already feel the difference. Last check I had lost 21#, which is big, but considering what I have to loose, not. But it has helped so much with knees.
So just hang in there it will get better post op. Marla
I too have osteoarthritis of the knees. I had partial knee replacements, and one went very well, the other a disaster, and no one can tell me why I am having so much pain, and immobility. I walk with a cane, take narcotics for pain, and can picture myself in a wheelchair. I was told a total knee replacement would work, well they said a partial would work too. I refuse to have it done, but I am having Gastric Bypass in hopes that it will help me. Losing the excess weight can only benefit my joints to where I am hoping I can have a good quality of life. Best Wishes to you.
