Did I tell you I was home??

My days are a blur and I can't remember if I said I was home! I came home Friday. Had a little delay because dietary was suppose to put on full liquids Th night so I would come home on that. On Fri, I still hadn't been progressed. Well, I had just eaten (drank) my grape juice and they ordered up a full liquid try. I think I pushed a little too much to get it in and felt cruddy for awhile. Still learning to know these feelings and pains. Have had two bouts with diarrhea, did i dump??? I think so! Not for sure though. One was on a protein drink and I didn't feel so great and felt it coming and the other was on liquid vitamin no more of that! I think the cheable Calcium attributed as well. Will have to work on those things. Worried about getting the last drain out, the first two hurt. No lie here! Hurt! I survived so wasn't death defyng or anything, just not something I want to look forward to! Rumor has it the last tube to come out is not as bad. Nasty lil rumors! LOL we shall see. I had my first bit of depression and buyers remorse today thinking why couldn't I have just been normal and lost weight the "easy" way....I am ok right now though. Just wanted to vocalaize it. Anyway, home is great and I am just trying to figure it out one step at a time. Regardless of the amount of research, you still feel like a recent graduate of school where you then just stand there looking left and right wondering what to do now. Glad to hear that you are home and on the road to recovery. I hear so many people have drains when they come home. I had an open rny and the second morning the drain was pulled out and the cathetar. It is like being a graduate and being on your own wondering what to do next and what is ok. Thank God we have this board to turn to, I would be lost without it. Patty
