HELLO AUGUST DATE FRIENDS, I HAD MY SURGERY ON WEDNESDAY (18TH) AND CAME HOME YESTERDAY. ONCE I GOT HOME I WAS KINDA SCARED BECAUSE I DID NOT HAVE ALL THE ACCOUNTABILITY THAT I HAD IN THE HOSPITAL. I AM STILL WORRIED I AM EATING OR DRINKING TOO MUCH. HOW ABOUT ANY OF YOU? ANY WORRIES?

Welcome home and best wishes for a speedy recovery. I wouldn't worry too much right now about drinking or eating either too little or too much. Right now you probably can't handle alot but it feels like so much. I am on full fluids right now and I can't possibly eat everything she has on the list for one day. Just make sure you are getting your protien, vitamins and water in. Those are the main things. Patty

Hey Sarah, I had my surgery on the 2nd of August and I felt the same way you do. Just amke sure that you drink your protein and try and get as much water as possible. I am almost 3 weeks post and still have a hard time getting all my water in. I am not used to taking such small sips. Make sure that when you are supossed to start your vitimins that you do. Do what your doctor tells you to do. Get plenty of rest, listen to what your body tells you. Things will be just fine. Best of luck to you. Welcome to the losing side! Sheri from SC
