Congratulations on your surgery date. I just had surgery on Tuesday 8/17 at 7:30 am. Not sure if all doctor instructions are the same but my doctor only asked that I not eat or drink after midnight Monday.

WELL MY SURGERY DAY WAS ON AUGUST 11 AND THEY SAY I HAD TO BE ON LIQUIDS THE DAY BEFORE AND NOTHING TO EAT OR DRINK AFTER
12:AM. CALL THE NURSE AND ASK HER. THAT'S WHAT I DID.

Every Dr has a different plan. Mine was that I could eat anything sat and only clear liquids sunday and nothing 12 hours prior to surgery. If he hasn't told you I would call the office and ask was preperations you need to do.

My surgery was 08/16/2004. My dr. started me on a liquid diet on 08/11/2004, with clear liquids the day before. So, it depends on your doctor.
