Just curious.... wondering how much lighter the world is since our surgeries??? I lost 18# the first 2 weeks, but nothing this week at all... anybody else in the same boat? Frustrating!! (BMI was 50) But I feel GREAT.... almost back to my old self, just minimally tired! So tell me... where are you now??? Share your starting BMI and how much you've lightened our planet so far!!!!! My surgery was 8/3, and I've lost 25 lbs so far. It seems like too much, but I'm getting more that 48 oz of fluids, 60 - 80 grams of protien (all but 3 of those days), and now walking about a half mile a day, so maybe that's it. Hope so, because this is fun!

My surgery was a week later on the 9th. I've lost 21 pounds and feel pretty good. My BMI was 52.9 and is now 49.9 which is great. Takes me from Super obese to Morbidly obese. Patty

YES! That home scale is the enemy though! I found the best way to lose is to NOT even use it! I am only counting the weights obtained in the doc's office. Surgery 8/2 The morning of surgery, I weighed 310! (last supper syndrome) August 10th 293 August 20th 283 HECK YEAH! I can live with a pound a day. I have lost 27 pounds, and that rocks! It has inspired me to exercise, so that it can come off that much faster. If I bust through 275, I will be a the lowest I have been in 8 years. I am going to Hawaii in December and I sooooooo want to take advantage of our 'window' of opportunity and lose as much as possible. Laterz Nona

I too had surgery on the 2nd. I have lost 37lbs. I am walking but still seems to be slow in my recovery. I went back to work after two weeks. Some days are better than others. I feel tired quite a bit and I don't look like I have lost but the doctor says that is swelling. Only time will tell . . .so far I have not missed food to much. But I do miss drink water in gulps! Good luck to all and happy losing

Hey Teri! I'm sooooo frustrated b/c I lost 22# in the 1st 2 weeks but in the past week I haven't lost ANYTHING! (Actually I lost 2, gained 2, lost 3, gained 1, etc). I walk everyday and try to get in all my protein. NOt sure what's going wrong, but I sure hope I didn't go through all of that for a measly 22 pounds!!! -Dawn (surgery date 8/3, height= 5'6", pre weight= 257, post = 235)
