Well, it's almost here! I felt like this day would never come and now it's coming TOO quickly. I just got off the phone with the hospital and i'm scheduled for LAP RNY on Monday at 9:20 AM. I have to be at the hospital at 7:20 AM. I'm not sure how to feel, I feel alot of emotions all at once. Mostly, I just want it over with and want to be on the losing side. I feel so blessed to have this opportunity! Good luck to all the fellow August losers out there! ~Jenn

Congrats Jenn, I was there last week...surg on 8/11. And now here I am 8 days post op! I has been a bit crazy recouperating but I am feeling better today. Your feelings are all normal! Center yourself and lose all the negative thoughts, pray and enjoy those around you. Soon, you will be on the losing side too. Oh, get up and walk in the hospital... it helps ease the gas and i was told it was one of the ways you get to go home. SO walk I did!! God bless Diane

Best wishes for an uneventful surgery and speedy recovery. I sure do understand about the mixed emotions. I had mine on the 9th and before was quite a roller coaster ride. If you want a little insight about what you might expect I detailed my hospital stay in my profile, maybe it will help. Patty

Good Luck Jenn. I will be there also on Monday the 23rd at 9:00am. I am sure we are both feeling the same things right about now. I start the clear liquids tomorrow so that I don't have to do the bowel prep thing. I am not sure which one I would rather be doing. Anyhow. Good luck and keep me posted. I am so excited for the both of us. Jonita Wichita Kansas
