Congrats on your surgery date and wishing you all the best. I had mine Aug. 9th and am doing great. I didn't have an angel but I consider everyone on here angels, helping each other along this journey, so I didn't look for one. Patty

Congrats Lisa!! My surgery date is also Aug 30th!!!! It's a good day for new starts!!!!! Just think we'll soon be healthier than we've been (and slimmer yipee) in a while!!!! I hope you are excited and confident! Watch out world here we come!!! I'll be thinking of all of us on Monday! Rhonda

Lisa: I just read your profile and saw your beautiful smiling photo. I'm waiting for surgery, 61 years old and grandmother from Canada. I surely can relate to all your pre-op strugles at loosing....but, I see you have your date and when you wanted it so...all the best to you dear girl. I am saying a prayer for you as I write this that all will go very well for you and you will be fit and strong for your classes in the fall. Idon't know if you have an angel yet or not but you can count on the group from this site to pull you up when you are down. I can't tell you how much I have appreciated those folks who I have gotten in touch with and who have answered my questions and told me how they were feeling. Just knowing others have had the surgery and are doing well is wonderful....we just are going to have to keep on track post op. All the best. God bless...Marie from Canada
