8/30/04...12 days and counting!!!
Hi everyone!!! I'm really nervous...my day is coming up! August 30th!!! 
I've been really weepy and nervous...asking all the "what if?" questions...my poor boyfriend has to deal with all of this snappiness and weepiness...and blah. LoL. Is anyone else having surgery on the 30th?? Anyone else having surgery on the 30th at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh??? Just curious. Hope everyone is doing well!!! Hope you are all healthy & happy! Good luck to all who are scheduled soon!!

What's up: AUG 30th HERE AS WELL! 
All that you are going through is also happening to me - you're not alone. It's crazy the emotional rollercoaster. At first it really didn't hit me. When I heard about my surgery date, I was ecstatic (I would have done a cartwheel if I could!!! lol). Then after the high was gone 1-2 days after, I've really just been waiting. On monday I started crying cause I got upset after thinking of the "what if's"...but quickly snapped out of it. My boyfriend was there to console me, and that just makes me realize how important it is to have an awesome support system around you: be it a boyfriend, girlfriend, friends, family, parents, siblings, and people on here as well. I'm talked to a lot of cool people on here (the cali board) and will be meeting a few face to face this coming weekend at an event. *excited*
So, I'm here if you guys need a ear to scream at, or shoulder to cry on...we all know what we're going through.
stay strong and don't go insane with the waiting game!!!

Patty, do you have any suggestions as to what to take with us to the hospital??? I have a general idea, but I'm hoping I didn't forget about anything! I wish you the best of luck now that you're on the losing side!
Lisa, I did not find a protein drink as of yet...I've tried a few, but they are nasty...If you find any suggestions or try one that's good, PLEASE let me know!! I would really appreciate it! I will pray for you as well!!!

I will be thinking of you guys on the 30th...That's our day! to a new us!! MY DATE US THE 30TH TOO. I HAVE BEEN WEEPY AND IRRITABLE. I CRY OVER EVRYTHING. I WROTE MY TWO YEAR OLD A LETTER IF SOMETHING SHOULD HAPPEN TO ME AND I CRIED FOR LIKE 3 HOURS. I AM TOLD THIS IS NORMAL. I AM GETTING NERVOUS BUT I AM READY...I HOPE EVRYTHING GOES WELL FOR U. SEE YOU ON THE LOSING SIDE GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
