Back home and doing fine

Hi everyone, I had the LAP RNY on Monday the 16th and am doing fairly well. Of course now I know what everyone means about "How in the WORLD do I get all this fluid in in one day" LOL. Oh well jus****ching the clock and drinking every 15 minutes or so. Still have that annoying JP drain in but will get it removed in about a week. I wanted to tell the other pre-ops that it isn't all that bad, although yeah I admit Monday I was like "why did I do this to myself?" but by Tuesday I was doing good and walking laps around the hospital floor. So trust me the secret is move and keep moving as much as possible. Good luck to everyone. Greg

Thanks Lisa, I'm very glad to hear that. Doc said there was just a little too much drainage for him to want to take it out before I left the hospital. He said they can be taken out anytime but once out can't be easily put back in if necessary LOL. So I guess I will just wait patiently and keep recording the CC's when I empty it. Thanks again for your reply, it gives me something to look forward to. Greg
