One week out Today!!
Hey everyone! I went back to Birmingham to the Dr. yesterday! I had a good visit! Didn't feel to well tho! He took my drain tube out and that kinda smarted! I was weighed and I thought I had lost 30-35 pounds, but that's ok! I had lost 20.4 pounds! I was happy with that! That's great for 6 days post-op! He told me to I could stop all of my meds. My Blood Pressure was lower than it had been in a looooooong time and my blood sugars have been wonderful since surgery! This surgery (although I'm having to learn and adjust to what I can and can't eat) has been soooooooo worth it already. It's been a week today and I can't think of one single reason that I would go back and not have this surgery. Even tho I did get sick 2 times yesterday! My Dr. was proud of me and said I didn't have to go back for 3 months! Kinda great ain't it? hehehehe I love you guys! Randall

20.4 pounds in one week is great. I see my Dr friday for the first time since surgery, will be happy to get these staples out and maybe I will get lucky and go off my blood pressure pills too. I cant think of a reason either that I would not do this again. Wish I would have done it sooner though.

I only lost 10 lbs. maybe I am doing something wrong. Maybe its the refried beans. I have to drink more and eat less than 6 meals I guess. I am happy for your new weight loss and the losing team. THanks for supporting me. Again congradulation on your journey.
