Home and drinking 24/7

Hi Everyone, I made it through surgery great last Friday (the 13th) and came home Sunday. I feel good and my bullet holes are itching so they must be healing. I sure do seem to have a glass in my face all day though. Will this get better? I seem to have to drink a lot to get all the requirements in.

I could not agree more. I had an open RNY on the 9th and home on the 13th. It seems that drinking is all I do and I still don't seem to get it all in. I have also been eating sugar free popcilcles and counting that volume in my drinking. Bottems UP, Karen

Thanks Karen, I can't seem to get enough of those popcicles my self. Let me know if you can think of anything good to add to this liquid diet. Dee

Good luck and glad to hear you are home and on the road to recovery.lol, I know what you mean about having a glass in your face all day, its just so much to drink. I think the drinking part is with us forever now. Patty
