Hi everyone, My surgery was Thursday and I came home Sunday. All went extremely well. I have tolerated everthing I tried so far. I am very sore and cant stand up to straight, but its over. I hated the hospital stay, but fortunately it was only 3 days. My scare is about 10" long, and I do have one tube left in my belly. If it werent for all of you here giving me your love and prayers, I wouldnt have been able to make it with such a positive attitude. My next goal is to be able to lie down. I will update you again soon. Good luck to everyone that comes after me. You will be fine.

Glad to hear you are home and on the road to recovery. It certainly is a challenge to get to bed and get up but it gets easier each day. My scar is about the same length. Patty

Hey Susan, Congrats and best of luck to you on the losing side. I had my surgery on 8-2-04 and am with you in recovery. The tube can become a big pain in your side. You will feel 100% better when that comes out. Do everything your doctor tells you. Get plenty of rest. Drink your fluids and protein. It can only get better from here. Sheri
