anyone had or has a G_TUBE??

just wondering if any of you had a G-Tube after surgery? How did they take it out? Did it hurt? and how did you do after? And for those of you that have one now, Doesnt it suck!!!!!!! Mine is staring to be a little tender. ALMA

Hi Alma, I had that damn drain tube...it hurt all the way up to my shoulders. My doctor was nice enough to remove it on my discharge. It felt weird coming out but all the pain I had went with it. I felt 100 percent better after the tube was removed. Hope this helps. Theresa

I had the g tube drain. What a pain! That damn thing daggling, hitting into you when you went for a walk. Thank goodness mine was removed before I was discharged. It did not hurt coming out. The resident was great about taking it out. You WILL feel 100% better when it comes out. Hope you're feeling better soon. Laurie
