Support group near Santa Barbara, Ca????

Hi. I had surgery (RNY) on Aug 4 at Fountain Valley regional. I was wondering if there is a support group in the santa Barbara Area. I sort of feel "lost in space" and it's too far to go back to Fountain Valley. I'm just home from the hospital on Aug 8, so still recovering. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Avalon Jenkins

Avalon, Have you tried posting this question to the California board? I bet you will hear about something there. I used to live up by Lompoc and I know there is a support group there. That would be an hour drive North though. I'm using Fountain Valley also. Who was your Dr.? Best wishes, Christie
