I went to have my pre-admissions testing today

I'm counting down I have 16 more days before my surgergy date. why haven't I gotten a letter from my insurance company saying whether or not I was approved. Well that's all for now, I will keep you guys posted.

Kelly you might be able to call them and ask i've read of several people doing this and alot of the time it way before the letter is send. best wishes hang in there. carol

HI KELLY,,, I WAS IN THE SAME SITUATION AS YOU, THEN I CALL THE INSURANCE THEY TOLD ME THEY STILL CHECKING BECAUSE THEY NEED MORE INFORMATION AND THEY SEND ME A LETTER STATING THAT THEY NEED THE PCP LETTER AND PCHYATRIC LETTER BY THE 29 IF NOT RECIEVED BY THAT DAY THEY DENY MY CLAIM . I CALL THE DOCTOR'S NURSE AND SHE SAY THAT DON'T WORRIED THAT THEY ALWAYS SEND THAT KIND OF LETTER THAT EVERYTHING WAS FINE. I WASN'T CONVICENCED SO I WENT TO MY DOCTOR AND FAX THE INFORMATION THEY REQUESTED FROM THERE.. ...... I RECIEVED THE APROVAL 2 DAYS LATER AND NOW MY SUGERY IS TOMORROW. SO I SUGEST YOU TO CALL THE INSURANCE AND MAKE SURE. GOOD LUCK CARMEN
