I CAN'T BELIEVE THE TIME IS ALMOST HERE.I'M GETTING EXCITED, BUT NERVOUS BECAUSE RIGHT NOW I HAVE LARYNGITIS. I NEED TO GET BETTER. PLEASE HELP. WHAT IS GOOD FOR THAT????

Hey Tracy! AUG 30th..woo hoo~! Has it hit you yet? It hasn't hit me just yet. I am sooo excited about the surgery, and just making the needed preparations at work, etc...but, i dont feel it ha**** ME just yet. 21 more days to go. I've started drinking my protein drink, just to get the "taste" down,not bad at all. Ive heard your taste changes after the surgery, but thought that a little protein cant hurt pre op. Keep in touch...21 more days!!!

WHAT KIND OF PROTEIN DRINKS ARE YOU DRINKING??? WHAT ELSE ARE YOU DOING TO PREPARE?? THANKS FOR THE INPUT.

First, do your best to rest your voice. There's nothing like not being able to talk to make you want to talk. Other than that the only thing that I have ever done is gargle with sal****er, can't say whether it helped much or not it was icky tasting. I have to go with Norma a bit on the part that it hasn't hit me much yet...I'm excited and can "see" the future things that I want to do that I will be able to do (hopefully soon). I am getting myself prepared by checking out different protien drinks and bars....Some of which are NASTY AS ALL GET OUT....still others that aren't that bad....If you need an energy drink, XS is pretty good (don't try the green tea one, ewww!)barf: Will have to make sure carbonation is out of it first though. Also, there are some different protien bar names that I can't remember. I will get those to you when I can.
