I am home!!! YEAH!!!!! I thought I was never going to get out of that hospital! Thank you to everyone who came by to see me...especially my angels Janiece & Brenda! My mom said that there were some other people who came to see me Tuesday night in the ICU...but I don't remember. Thank you Dianna McGill for the balloon and cup. Adam didn't understand why you had sent me a balloon that said happy birthday on it...but I understand. There was a gal there...dark hair...god forgive me I can't remember your name...thank you so much for coming. Also, someone brought me a baloon and for the life of me I can't remember getting it! As I am sure it has been posted...I spent my first night in the ICU because of my sleep apnea. I gotta tell you...when I first put that CPAP on...it hurt my belly. I could really feel the pressure...so I kept waking up every 30 minutes to push the happy button. Wednesday was better...I got moved from ICU to the surgical ward...although I would have loved a bed with more cushin...my ass still hurts. I started walking Wednesday and have been stedily doing better. It feels so good to be home now. Honestly, the pain is less than I expected. I would rather do this again then break my leg anyday!! I do have to say that I have a gastrostomy tube due to my CPAP machine. I am sure that it has a big impact on the gas (or lack there of...). Well, I just wanted to post and say that I am home now and very happy to be a looser for life! Kristy

I am glad things are going well for you. I am sure that the apnea didn't help, but seems like you did great anyway. I hear it only gets better from here. Take care, Alicia
