HONEY.......... I'M HOOOOOMMMMEEE!

Darn, I'm sore! It's just one incision (of 6) inparticular that's bugging me. The nurse said that it's the one they use the most (going in and out with the camera, etc), so it'll be the first to hurt and the first to get infected. So far, no infection! That incision also hurts when I inhale and it is a little bruised. I do feel some gas bubbles bubbling around and sometimes I wish they would come out the other end , but it rarely does. I have until tomorrow to "use the bathroom". If nothing happens, then I'll have to take some milk of mag. Fruit 2o is some YUMMY water, but IMO, it's a little bubbly, too (even though it says it's not made with carbonation). I just put it in my bottle with a bunch of ice and let it all melt together. I would LOVE some regular food (head hungry), but according to my stomach, I have no hunger, really. Those darn Pizza Hut commercials can do a number on ya, though! While I'm awake, I'm slipping down my water. Every hour or more I'm either having my 30ish cc's of Jell-O or chicken broth. The wonderful Lortab Elixir is kicking in now. My face gets a little red, and my mind starts to fog over a bit. Until next time!

Welcome home! Thanks for the info on the bubbly water and the gas that we all will be experiencing! I LOVE when people put TRUE DETAILS, ya know....that gives us all the heads up about what to expect, what others have experienced, etc...makes the ride a little less scary norma g.
