Are we crazy???
My wife and I are having surgery on he same day (August 16th). We are both having a lap-RNY by the same Doctor, one right after the other. (I'm first, because the doctor does all his cases by order of who weighs the most)
We have our two best friends who are taking turns staying with us for the first week, and our 18 year old daughter is taking the week off work, so we are not worried about suport at home.
My only worry is something happening to one of us in surgery, and the other one not being available to be there.
Our doctor said he has done spouses on the same day 3 time before, and as long as there is sufficient support at home (which he verifies) he thinks its a good idea, as we will have someone to lean on who is going through the same thing at the same time.
So, are we cray???
