First time posting-Surgery date 08/23/04

This is my first time posting. Im so excited about my surgery, it's all I talk about all the time since I got my date. I have anesthesia and surgery preop on 8/11/04, and my surgery date is set for 8/23/04. I have a wonderful physician and plastic surgeon. I also have wonderful support from my mother, Shirley, my sister and best friend Nickie, my two favorite cousins Leslie, and Samantha, my two best friends, Meosha and Tamieka. And a special male friend. I can't express how excited I am. Ive been heavy all my life and finally something is going to be done about it. I am having rny gastric bypass surgery. Im not a big picture taker so the pictures will come later because I have just started taking "fat" pictures of myself to start a journal, so I will post some pictures as soon as I get some. I would love to here from others who has had lap rny or getting ready to. We all need all the support we can get. Have a blessed day! Danielle Bell
