Just 3 more days!!!!!!

Yesterday I waited to see the Dr. for 4 hours just to pick up my surgery papers.. Today I had my pre-op at the fitness center and I had my pre-op at the hospital . I was so dreadind the the blood gas test but it was all a breeze I was in and out within a hour. The best of all is coming up Saturday!!! The 2 day bowel prep . I have been very nervous for the last 3 days . I even had a panic attack yesterday in Walmart . I have waited so long (since May 16) and it is here . I'm ready to be on the losing side Good Luck to everyone that there surgery is coming up. I'll be for everyone. Everyone I need your prayers: halo:. I know the Lord is with me all the way but never hurts to have a little help along the way Good Luck! Cindy

Hi Cindy, Oh do I know how you are feeling! My date is 8/3 and I am a wreck! If it was not for xanax, I could not make it. Even with it, I am still having panic attacks! I have this lovely verse posted on my computer, "I know not what the future holds, but I know Who holds the future". I keep reading it over and over. Hey I only have one day prep! And I am dreading it. If I had 2 days.....omg! I wish you a speedy recovery and my prayers are with you. Marla

CINDY: I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND. MY DATE IS TWO WEEKS FROM THIS MONDAY. I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO GET TO SLEEP REALLY WELL UP UNTIL THE PAST WEEK OR SO. I KEEP GETTING A VISION OF ME IN THE HOSPITAL AND HOW I WILL FEEL WHEN I WAKE UP FROM THE SURGERY! I HAVE BEEN VISITING MY MOM AT SOUTHCREST (WHERE I WILL BE) THE PAST FEW NIGHTS. SHE HAD HER SPLEEN REMOVED. I HAVE SEEN A FEW GASTRIC BYPASS PATIENTS WALKING THE HALLS! IT REALLY BROUGHT ALL OF THIS INTO REALITY FOR ME!! Teri, I have been cleaning house like there is no tomorrow and when I dao sit down I work on word search puzzles. I keep going over all the list the Dr. gave me and checking to make sure I'm not forgetting anything. I've been working on getting any meds changed that need to be changed for when I get home. This week I have had 4 different Dr. or hospital appointments. What have you been doing? Cindy
