surgery date 8/2/2004

my prayers are with you all... I am having a revision on 8/3/04 and I am so excited... not nervous just ready to have it done... I am on a liquid diet for 5 days before and then clear liquids over the weekend... I cant wait till Tues.... My prayers are with you all... Debra

I will pray to the Good Lord for you, and for all of the other people out there (myself included) whose new lives will begin on August 2nd.....expect the best, and remember, God is always with you!!! I cannot wait until Monday!!!!!!

Hey ! Ceecee I'm on the 2nd as well. I had my pre-op with my Dr. yesterday and the hospital today and the fitness center today I have been waiting since May 16. Get to start the bowel prep Saturday I'll pray for all of us that's on the 2nd and the whole week These few week have gone by fast . Good Luck! Cindy

I am scheduled 8/2 also! I need to be at the hospital @ 8:30 - Dr. Bright said I would have my surgery around 11:00..... I am pretty calm! Staying real buisy! Good Luck !!! Lisa

Hi Lisa, I too am calm. My surgery is also 8-2-04 at 11 AM. I don't have to get there until 9:30 am. I only got my date last Wed. so have only been jittery a few days. I decided not to let the unknow bug me too much. It's like cramming for a big test, you can only take in so much information and then you just have to take the test and react to each question as it comes to you. Now I am calm. I'll be thinging of you as our time nears and want to wish you a speedy recovery. Take care and report back when you can. I'll be looking for your update when I get home on Thursday. Mary-Rose
