August 6th Here I come!!!!

Hi, I'm new to this site, this board and the whole WLS thing. I've been struggling with my weight for 20 years and about 3 -4 months ago my OBGYN suggested I see a surgeon regarding WLS and I now have a date of August 6th!!!! I'm so excited. Reading all the posts on this site have been so incouraging and educational. I'm a little nervous about being full. I don't want to be hungry. Welcome Tracey and congrats on your surgery date I think a lot of people worry about that but we all will get throught it !! Most post-op's I've read say it takes awhile for you to get hungry at all !! Best of everything Linda

Hi Tracey, I am not exactly new here, I have been lurking on this site for a while. Just wanted to say good luck to you. I am scheduled for the 6th as well. Hi Tracey: Best wishes for your surgery and a speedy recovery. I think most of our hunger after will be head hunger, some days will be worse than others and some days you almost forget to eat. Patty
