Words of Encouragement....

I finally have a date...and i'm nervous....any words of encouragement from those who have had the procedure would be greatly appreciated

I have not had surgery, but I can tell you, you will have ups and downs between now and then. Just try to relax and keep focused. Marla

Donna: I havent had mine yet either, its Aug. 9th. My sister had hers on March 1st and is doing incredibly well. Her words of wisdom to me were not to be afraid to take the pain medication otherwise you will limit yourself to not moving much in the hospital and its important for your circulation. I was gung ho I wasnt going to use it because it would make me sleepy but she does have a very valid point. Best wishes on your surgery and I hope you have a speedy recovery. Patty
