I am married to a marine we are just about to hit the big ole 7 month mark of marriage. He has been in the marines a year this month. Do you have any problems with ur husbands support in ur choice to have wls my husband hates the idea and tells me daily i am going to fail i think he is just insecure cause i am a pretty confident person as i am i think he thinks i am gonna be a WILD woman when i am thinner.....

Air Force for 12 years...atleast 8 more to go. The hostile fire should be doubled, if kids are at home. You both should get paid, if both are risking it..

Hi Christie! Yeah, we are not alone! We are almost there. I am so excited. Only 3-4 more weeks and we will be on the road to Loserville. Best wishes to all of the Military Losers out there! Joan

Joan, Look at all these military spouses in August. I think this is so awesome. Our dates are getting close now. I have had pre-op appointments all week and a few more the next 2 weeks and then off to surgery. Can you believe it? Did it sneak up fast or what? I remember when we started emailing and it seemed so far off. Loserville here we come, Christie

Hey there, my boyfriend is in the Air Force. I don't see him much. He lives in New Mexico while I live in Connecticut. He's being deployed in Jan to japan for 4-6 months.

Aliza, Is he stationed at Kirtland? I am from Albuquerque. I'm sorry about the deployment. Those really suck. Wow though, when he gets back from his deployment, he isn't going to recognize you. How exciting!! Christie

Hi Christie, I have been an AF military spouse for 13 yrs now. Congratulations on you surgery date. Remember to stay positive, be receiptive to all the great comments you are going to receive, and be there for those who need your experience to make it through their life change. We are currently stationed in USAFE, I had the Lapo RNY here in Germany. I am almost 5 wks post-op. I am down 27lbs and can't wait to go shopping, not at the BX Women's Sizes section.

hurray for your spouses. Please let them know there is a lot of Americans that love and appreicate what they are doing to protect our freedoms and libery. But as a spouse of a retired Salior I know that it's the spouse who also sacrifices. Our service person could not do their job with out the spouse taking care of the homefront. Now it's time to take care of ourself so that we can really take care of our men good luck to everyone on their WLS. Mine is 8/23/04 in San Diego. Oneida
