I HAVE A DATE... FINALLY!!!!!!

I finally got approval on 7/16/2004 verbally... I couldn't believe it after more than 14 months of jumping thru hoops for the insurance company... but sure enough I got it in black & white : a letter arrived 7/20/2004 confirming it... Surgery date was set for 8/9/2004... St Mary's Hospital in Enid, Ok. Dr Greg Walton & his staff have been wonderful thru all of this. I am so excited...If any one has any suggestions or comments that might help me... please feel free to contact me... Good Luck to all.. This is a great site .... Sharon

I like that term... REbirthday....wow...It was the date of my grandfathers birth and I have taken that as a good sign for my rebirth...I will keep you in my prayers....Sharon

Congratulations! I should have known I was not the only on that had to go through 14 months of insurance hell. My insurance woes have also ended and my surgery date is August 11th. I'm excited and nervous. I wish you and all the other August surgery people, the very best and let's keep posting and giving each other support. Big Hugs! Alonda

It was a long, long battle... but hey were made it ... I hope all goes well with your surgery on the 11th... I should be coming home that day..I know the excited and nervous.. and a little scared.. but know it is the best and right thing to do...Sharon
