Surgery August 2,3,4,5,6????
August 3rd here! I just had my pre-ops yesterday. It wasn't as bad as I thought, although that barium stuff could use a LOT more flavoring! 
I am getting a little anxious/excited/nervous, whatever you want to call it. But I'm also really preoccupied with appointments. To make a long story short, out of the 12 days left until my surgery, I am either going to or taking people to appointments 6 of those days. I was supposed to take my 5 year old son to be "put under" to get a cavity filled today, but they over scheduled, so I have to call today and get a new appointment.
So I have loads to keep me busy. Not to mention, my 21 year old sister just arrived from Turkey on Monday night and will be here for a month, so I plan on visiting with her a bit too.
I haven't bought ANYTHING yet! I go see my surgeon and his nurse on the 29th, then I'll shop. They'll give me a list and I'll go by that. I'm not into buying all these protein drinks and supplements off the net without even tasting them.
