Hello to all. I am so nervous I just got my date August 3. My biggest worry is having panic attack the morning of surgery and it getting cancelled. I am wondering if there is anyone else having surgery the same day, would love to hear from you. God Bless to all. Shirley Barnett

My surgery is also scheduled on Aug 3rd at 7:30 am. I have to be at the hospital at 5:30 am. I know that I won't be sleeping that night...I am very nervous but I know that is normal. God will be with us and he will take care of us. When God is ready to take you home he is going to take you, whether its from this surgery, from a car accident, in your sleep, etc. Keep your chin up, take deep breaths and stay calm. Just think we will all be losers in 2 weeks!! Good luck and God Bless!!

Hi Shirley, I too am scheduled for surgery August 3rd, I am supposed to check in at 5:30 a.m. @ Bristol regional Medical Center. in Bristol , Tennesee. My Dr is Dr. Glen Birkitt, jr. Don't worry hon, I have been on an emotional roller coaster since I got my date! Scared, happy, excited, , nervous, ..Did I say scared ? lol, I think we wouldn't be human if we didnt experience some or all of these feelings !! But just think what we have to look forward too!! Thats what helps me...Sometimes, and then at others, nothing helps, As one lady said, Just pop another xanax...lol...If God brought us to it, He'll bring us through it, I firmly beleive that...hey maybe we should start a August 3rd support group ..?? lol..I know there are times I could use some support!!
