Received clearence from my PCP

Yesterday I had an appointment with my PCP to receive clearence for the surgery which was given without a problem. He is very much for me having this done and I have lost about 20 pounds on my own so far. I am starting to get very excited as the date get closer and I think the nerves are starting to but just hidden under my other emotions. Yesterday I started making all sorts of lists. Things I need to buy at the grocery store prior to the surgery, things I need to take to the hospital with me, things I need to purchase prior other then grocery wise like a good food scale and things I wnat to do once I lose my weight. Is anyone else making lots of lists? We are almost there. My thoughts are with all of you. Best of luck and we will be on the losing side soon. Ginny 8/4/04

Thats great about your clearance, it will be here before you know it. I go on Tues for my pre-ops, guess that will clear me, hopefully, for the surgery. I havent made any lists yet but been thinking about it. Good luck Patty

Congratulations on your clearance from your PCP I've read the book the dr/s office has given me at least 100 times. I have lists of lists. I've probably lost more lists than I have left. But you're right soon we'll be on the losing side. Which makes all this craziness worth it. God bless you and your recovery. (and your lists!)
