My surgery is scheduled!!!

In July of 2003, I began my journey of getting a surgery date for the RNY. Believe it or not, it was not my insurance that held me up. It was the fact of trying to get an appointment with the surgeon! I finally had an appointment in January, was cleared in April for everything, then my surgeon left the practice. My case got shuffled around, and I finally have an August 24th date! Yipee. I am sooooo ready. Renee

Some of the stories I've read just absolutely try my patience. I think your's is one of the worst reasons for delaying for over a year. (But I don't think you'd want a disgruntled dr. operating on you either.) God bless you and your recovery. My date is Aug 16 so see you on the other side.
